Antonello

Antonello is a male cat and is the main character (protagonist) of the series Lingers. He is an adult feline misanthrope whose skills, and their magic inside inside it, making that besides cat, Antonello is a magical creature. Antonello is the son and only child of Tonello and Celina, Alvaro's nephew, best friend later Desdemona's husband, the father of Clara and Enrico, and brother-in-law of Federico, the son in law of Stefania and Elia.

Personality:

Antonello as a young male cat was playful and always ready for an adventure with her best friend, Desdemona. He tried to see the best in everyone, even his uncle Alvaro. Sometimes he can be arrogant, and boasted that he will be the greatest king ever, which often has him and Desdemona in danger. Nevertheless, he came to see the fault in his actions and always learned from his mistakes.

Now, as an adult, Antonello still have their fun behavior, but became ashamed of these actions he believed were his fault when he was a puppy. After meeting with Desdemona, Antonello realizes that he needs to mature and take responsibility, it becomes even more courageous and determined to protect his family and kingdom, regardless of cost. Antonello becomes very rigorous and takes his job to rule the kingdom very seriously. Unfortunately, later in life, this defensiveness makes it occasionally becomes overprotective and overbearing to others, even your family. However, he finally gets to see the light and is successful in saving his pride. Antonello is marked by his strong sense of justice. Nevertheless, he is still naive to his enemies, as when Ely congratulated Federico for leading Antonello in the ambush she set up, it automatically believe his words and distrusts Federico, when Federico was really unaware of the ambush and therefore had nothing to do with that. It is also extremely Clara guard as to keep it in your vision constantly. He is so determined to keep his family safe he ignores reality. It is too cold for Federico, but is not above listening to reason and to be faithful to what his father was, its rules and laws. At trial, due to his injuries, his anger and stress of his position, he finally snaps, ignoring her daughter's pleas. It almost nearly destroys his relationship with his daughter.

When confronted by Clara at the end of the film, he gruffly ordered her, but her daughter convinces him that their enemies are their own species. Antonello look at all finally realize that Clara is correct and begins to rely more on it. When Clara addresses Ely to avoid the angry cat to kill there, he jumps behind her to rescue her. Clara tells him that she tried to save Ely, and seeing that Federico belongs to her, gives his blessing to the two marry. It is more forgiving his enemies and more confident of their daughter, indicating that he is becoming a better ruler.

Antonello also like to keep the tradition, which was why at first he rejected his son the choice of Enrico for the Cats Guard as they were not all cats like previous cats guards. However, after seeing Enrico and his defeat clan Guard guardian Lillesville, Simba realizes that Enrico was wise to have chosen whom he chose, and finally accepted the new Cats Guard.
